We made mosaic collages today with our mantra for the year, “I can do hard things!” I am constantly encouraging these kids to never give up, even when things do not come easily. With struggle comes growth, strength and eventually confidence! 👊💪 Hope they never forget, they can do hard things ☺️👏
We started with white card stock paper and traced a circle in the middle. I dumped out a stack of lovely art that had been piling up, and told the kids they could rip off pieces and arrange them however they wanted around their circles.
Then, they wrote “I can do hard things” in the center with sharpie!
