Livestream of Hummingbird Nest w/ Eggs On Our Light String

by admin

We took a little too long to take down our Christmas lights this year, and a cute mama hummingbird made her nest on our lights! She took a week or two to build her nest and we noticed on February 1st there were eggs! My husband had the great idea to set up a LIVE cam so we could watch for them to hatch! Follow along with us :]

Hummingbirds are so smart, this one built her nest no farther than 6 feet from our hanging hummingbird feeder. If you have thought about getting a hummingbird feeder or adding one to your property here is the one we have and has worked great for us! https://amzn.to/42OBmrg

February 1st- We noticed the nest being built and two eggs inside!

Update: February 19th – at least one baby has hatched!

Update: February 21st – we see two babies!!!

Update: February 23rd- Changed camera Angle to be able to see into nest 🙂

Update: March 7th- We lost one of the babies to a larger bird 🙁

Let us know below if you are watching from home!

Hi Lori, thanks so much for always checking in. We have stopped the livefeed now and are working on a highlight clip. Baby bird left the nest on March 19th! We will hopefully have another livefeed up of something else fun soon.
