Our sweet Milo boy is here. Even at 13 days past m Our sweet Milo boy is here. Even at 13 days past my due date, he still wasn’t ready! Induction was rough, and this has been the hardest postpartum recovery out of all of them. Even though my physical body is weak, my heart couldn’t be more filled with gratitude. It’s hard to put into words how I feel holding him in my arms, kissing his perfect little toes, hearing his cries. After losing our last three babies, it still hasn’t really sunk in that he’s here and I get to be his mama. 🥹We are in newborn heaven and I cherish every moment. The girls have been such good helpers and are loving him so well. Matt has been an amazing support to me and I love seeing him be a new dad again. 🥰 Thanks so much for all your prayers and checking in, friends. 💛

Had a wonderful day celebrating our Emmy girl with Had a wonderful day celebrating our Emmy girl with family yesterday. Seven years old! 🥳 And what a privilege it is to live in this amazing country! 🇺🇸Happy Birthday America! 🎆
This past weekend, I had an intimate group of my c This past weekend, I had an intimate group of my closest friends and family over to celebrate our sweet miracle boy. These ladies have walked with me over the last 6 years through loss, grief, pain and trial. Their prayers and faith helped carry me through some of the hardest seasons of my life. Initially, I wanted to invite ALL the people to have a big celebration, but this was much more of what my soul needed.

The one thing I wanted to do at the shower was worship. Not only had the Lord walked through the trials with me as He promised He would, but He’s blessed us with Milo and supernaturally healed him in my womb when we got devastating news. It was such a beautiful time to worship together and give Him all of the glory and praise 🙌

My sister-in-law‘s sweet friend Royce came with crocheted hexagons that we asked the ladies to pray over, and then she took those and made them into a blanket. Milo will literally be wrapped in prayer. 😭 We also had them fill out prayer cards for him that I will cherish and give him when he is older.

Lastly, we set up a Bloom Bar where the ladies could make their own bouquets to take home. I’ve said, “You can really tell the state of my life by the state of my garden,” and this season it is so full of beautiful flowers. About half of all the flowers we used were from my yard. Such a beautiful picture of how waiting, though hard and counter-cultural, is not for nothing and the harvest is worth it. 🌻🌼

A huge shout out to all the ladies who worked hard to make this day so perfect and loved this very pregnant lady so well.🤰

@hannah.m.ho & @teresasinner did all the amazing food, @avsinner was the perfect host, @a_mamasmore made the beautiful balloon arch, @vanessaherrock and @tellylace helped make the farmstand beautiful, and @tellylace worship was such an incredibly special time. My beautiful mama who made all of the gorgeous floral arrangements. My dad and little sister surprised me with a song as well 🥹 Thank you all from the bottom of my heart! I know Milo is so very loved already 💙

In the overwhelming seasons, if we pause to think In the overwhelming seasons, if we pause to think about more than just what is right in front of us and the current status of our circumstance, and we look at the big tapestry of our life, woven together by the joy and the sadness, the healed and the broken places, by the accomplishments and the progress, the forgiveness and grace, that step back allows us the gift of seeing what is truly important. At the very least, which is an extraordinary gift that none of us deserve, there is a Savior who came and gave His life so that we may live. The gift of salvation is something none of us deserve, yet He made a way for us.

I was reading this morning in Habakkuk 3:17-19:
“Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls,

YET I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights.”

Even when it’s hard, even when we can’t see where this path will lead, even in the doubt and pain, we can still lean on a big God who promises to be with us in the midst of it, giving us the strength and grace we need. Through worship, comes JOY.

Also, choosing to let things be left undone is ok in those seasons. I only sent out the first batch of Christmas cards, so if you didn’t get one, here is yours! 🫣😘

Merry Christmas, from the Sinners! 💛
