    D’elne Celery Seedlings

    Farm Product, Seedling
    $5.00

This short and stout, refined and reliable celery hails from France. We love this variety for its relative ease of growing and nutritious green stalks with gourmet flavor. It performed very well in our trials and our taste tests. These upright, tidy plants average 18 inches tall and have crisp, sweet flavor. Growing gorgeous celery can be easy when you choose an easier-to-grow variety like this and provide rich soil, even moisture and relatively mild weather.

🌲✨ Standing among giants at Sequoia National 🌲✨ Standing among giants at Sequoia National Park! 🌳Did you know the General Sherman Tree is the largest tree in the world by volume—over 275 feet tall and more than 2,000 years old? 🤯 We learned the top of the tree is actually dead so it won’t get taller, but it’s growing wider! Currently over 100ft circumference!

And the view from Moro Rock 🪨… absolutely breathtaking 😍. After climbing 350+ steps, you’re rewarded with sweeping views of the Sierra Nevada 🏔️🌄.

Forever in awe of God’s creation 🙌💚
Yesterday was day 1 of my kinder-2nd grade class! Yesterday was day 1 of my kinder-2nd grade class! We had so much fun talking about this great big world we live in! We also talked about where rain 🌧️ comes from and the water cycle. They enjoyed creating a rain cloud in a jar with shaving cream and colored water. They loved the big swing and eating tomatoes from garden. Looking forward to a great year! 🍎

📢 Any mamas on here new to homeschooling?! 🙋 📢 Any mamas on here new to homeschooling?! 🙋‍♀️I’m starting my 7th year, and I am by no means a professional or have all the answers, but I wanted to send some encouragement to the moms who are feeling overwhelmed at the thought of starting their homeschooling journey. I’ve been there, girl. 😳

I wrote a blog post about 5 ways you can lessen the stress when you are just starting out.

An overview:

1. 📆 Routine over Schedule- this is not trying to recreate traditional school at home.

2. 🏞️ Freedom of location - the world is your classroom

3. 📖 Curriculum is meant to serve your family- test out to see what works

4. 👯‍♀️👯‍♀️Community - we are in this together!

5. ⚽️🎨🎤Follow their lead - learning is way more fun that way

Click on the link in my profile to read all the details.

Seasoned mamas, I want you to chime in here! What would you tell your overwhelmed self at the beginning of your homeschooling journey? Drop an encouraging word below for the moms who need it! 👇
